When to go
The best time to go on safari in Zambia depends on what you want to see and do, but generally, the dry season from June to October is considered the best time for wildlife viewing. During this period, animals are easier to spot around water sources and the vegetation is less dense.

This is also the peak season for tourism, so expect higher prices and more crowds in the parks. However, you can enjoy activities such as walking safaris, canoe safaris, night drives, and hot air balloon rides during this time.
